Tixel gives organisers increased control of their resale exchange. Settings are available for creators to access self-service via their organiser platform.
Once you add an event to your Tixel Dashboard, you will be able to set the resale rules in the Event Settings > Ticket Settings tab.
Price Cap
Organisers can adjust the price cap within geo-specific limitations, which will limit the upper limit that a seller will be able to list their ticket for. Update the amount and click Save.
Managing Ticket Types
Above the Event Settings tab, select the “Global Settings” toggle and select which ticketing provider tickets you’d like to edit.

In the Ticket Categories section, you can edit the display name of ticket tiers and choose which are available for resale.
Editing Tier Names
The Display as name is what the ticket name will be displayed as on the Tixel event page when fans are signing up to join the waitlist. Combining tier names consolidates the list of tiers that your fans will sign up for on the waitlist. For example:
- If you have multiple tiers of your 3 day pass like 3 Day Pass (Tier 1), 3 Day Pass (Tier 2), 3 Day Pass (Final Sale) you might want to display all of those as simply “3 Day Pass.” That way, when a fan signs up for alerts for a “3 Day Pass” any ticket type in that category will trigger that notification.
- If only certain ticket types are suitable for 21 years and older, you can include this info in the display name so it’s clear to buyers, “ Festival pass (21 yrs+)”
Make sure to click Save after making any changes.
Blocking Ticket Types
Organisers can choose which ticket types they want to allow to be resold by fans by selecting or deselecting the check boxes in the Resale column. Make sure to click Save after making any changes!
