Tixel applies a price cap on ticket listings so that the seller cannot sell their ticket for more than a percentage above face value. The default percentages are as follows;
- 10% in Australia
- 25% in North America
- 20% in Europe
This means, a seller can only sell their ticket for the maximum of the face value + price cap %. The face value is the amount that the ticket was purchased for including any fees.
For e.g, if a seller is selling their $100 ticket (which they purchased for $100 including fees)Β in Australia, the maximum they are able to list it for is $110.
There is scope to change these price caps depending on the creator with approval from Tixel.
